2007 Rules...

Footy Tipping Comp - 2007

Starts Friday 16 th March

$50 to enter

Must Be Paid Within 10 Weeks

Rules

Scoring System – the actual scores for the team that is selected are added weekly to the players score

Cards must be filled in & submitted 1/2 an hour before the 1 st game kicks off for the week. (eg: Actual kick off time is 7.30pm Friday – card must be in by 7pm)

The Perfect Round bonus starts at $10 and Jackpots $10 every week it is not won

In the event of a draw you will only receive the points of your chosen team (eg: souths 10 – Cowboys 10 = 10 points)

If you picked both teams for the draw then you get both teams points (= 20 points)

Points are only awarded for normal games – State of Origin & Test Matches are not included in the Points Tally

To get The Perfect Round with a draw you must select both teams for the draw

All non-completed cards for the week will receive all losing teams points

Every Week the lowest score for the round wins a Free Drink

Uncompleted cards for the round are ineligible for the Free Drink

If card is not completed 6 weeks in a row then you are ineligible for any prizes and forfeit any monies

Weeks 23, 24, 25, 26 are Secret Squirrel Rounds – Only Free Drinks and Perfect Rounds will be revealed

Weekly results will be available from midday Tuesdays, On the tipping board in the TAB Room, as well as on the Globe Hotel Website

Final Results will be revealed at the Tipping Party, which will be held on the Sunday two weeks before the Grand Final

Prizes

1 st Prize - 50% of the Pool + Mystery Prize

2 nd Prize - 20% of the Pool

3 rd Prize - 10% of the Pool

Wooden Spoon - Carton Of Beer

20% of the Pool will be used to fund the End of Year Footy Tipping Party

Where All the Results will be revealed

At the tipping party, All eligible cards will also be entered in a random draw for a Mystery Prize, you must be at the party to win the mystery prize

 

In The Event of a Draw for any of the Top 3 Positions the following applies:

Tied 1st = both 1st and 2nd prize pools are combined and split evenly, No Second Place, Third will receive the 3rd prize pool

Tied 2nd = 1st place awarded, 2nd & 3rd prize pools are combined and split evenly, there is no third place

Tied 3rd = 1st place awarded, 2nd place awarded, 3rd prize pool is split evenly.
